I had found a baseball bat, went across to another shop, and there was a zombie behind a desk. so I took them all out, so no bullets left in my gun. All the zombies were standing at a window. While doing so, I could hear other zombies moving and making noise but could not see any until I was leaving. This happened A LOT! I could not pick up items or Items where stuck in the middle of shelves or doors.Ĭarried on playing and found myself a gun, a rifle of some kind, went in to a shop, killed two zombies, looted what I could. So went back to the first ones still couldn’t get them. Next one picked up some chips, not a problem. Got in to a building was opening all the cupboards founds some chips, went to pick it up i couldn’t no matter the angle I was at. Nice bit of atmosphere in this poor-looking town (graphically). Next I am in the game and went over to the first town, was sneaking about and you can hear the “UURRGGH!” of the zombies. So started up my game in single player as I couldn’t find a multiplayer game when I tried, and no one I know has this game. I am not a fan of-the-art style but love survival games. On paper this sounds amazing, I was well up for this. Now you must forage and raid buildings for food, water, weapons, ammo and amour to survive. It will spawn you in on a random point on the map. The game is a simple concept, you pick your survivor from each with their own ‘Perks’ pick a map then start. With this being a survival game, there is no over arcing story. Pick your character, pick your map and have at it. What happens when Day-Z, Roblox have a baby? You get UNTURNED. If you try it out, or if you're already a regular player do tell us your thoughts in the comments.Review Rush was kindly supplied with a review code. The tutorial was fine for the basic controls, but not how to actually survive in any way. I do suggest looking up some sort of beginners guide. Although it's not been a problem so far since every time I try and start off on my adventure, a bunch of zombies end up munching down on me. Zombies might be menacing, players might kill on sight, but hunger and thirst can end up being the real problem. You will need to stock up on food, drink, weapons and more if you want to survive. You will die early and often, but it seems like a game that could actually be quite engrossing due to the vast array of features it has. Like most survival games it has a learning curve at the start. What amuses me is that you don't have to kill other players, you can handcuff and blindfold them and put them into a makeshift prison if you wish. It has mod support, massive maps, vehicles, crafting (items and buildings) and tons I can't fit in here. It's as unforgiving as any of the others, finding yourself running around a corner to see a bunch of zombies before you've managed to find a weapon―dead. Obviously the graphics are much lower in quality compared with those titles (ARK is debatable, since it looks like crap on Linux), but it has a certain charm to it. I reset my graphical settings and since then it's been fine.Īs for the game itself, it's a lot like Rust, ARK, 7 days to die and *insert survival game here*. I also had some issues with the game repeatedly crashing the first few times, unsure what caused it. I will start off with a warning: Keep the Render Mode on Legacy, their Deferred is broken for me giving me a black screen with some colourful crap everywhere.
